We eventually ordered a cab and spent 17 dollars to get to the rental office. When we arrived the gentleman at the counter said that we had to call immidiately when arriving at airport so that they could send a shuttle. I showed them the car trawler voucher in which no where did it state that we had to call. When I explained to them that even after I called later on there was no answer, come to find out that the number at the carrousel to call them is the one wrong. Then they told us that they gave our car away as they had put us down as a 'no show'. He then stated that we would have to wait a half hour before another one would be ready for us. We had a 2 and 3 year old, we had arrived at the airport and did not get our car until nearly 1200. My girls were hungry and tired and this place did absolutely nothing to correct things. They said they would give us 10% off when we returned the car, but when we returned it, it was another man and he said that there was no note in the computer about a 10% off. Have to also mention that when we returned to the rental office my little one had to use the bathroom, the women's bathroom had no toilet paper in all three stalls, no paper towels and no hand soap. I had to go in the men's washroom to get my little one toilet paper and that was beyond disgusting. The pungent smell of urine was overwhelming. The way Alamo solved this is rated: We did not get type of car that we booked (or similar) from Alamo but: pay extra. The car had technical problems. Alamo did not solve this problem immediately. This solution is rated: Comment: The lease brought me serious trouble. When I appeared to remove the car, I was informed that the range of cars offered is different from that provided by Dollar when rented in Los Angeles. I had to make up a grade, spending more than $ 1,000.00. Not only that, after a long journey, when leaving the vehicle I chose (Dodge Grand Caravan), an employee of Alamo told me he had to exchange the vehicle because he had flat tires (or below recommended pressure). ... But then came the surprise: the second vehicle I have chosen tambe'm had a flat tire or something. But that I could see only when I was in New Olrleans!. At the next stop in Memphis, I asked the Service Road of Alamo to exchange the vehicle that offered no security conditions. But, absurdly, the clerk said they could just change the tire ... Upon arriving at the location indicated for the repair of the tire (a Firestone store in Memphis on a Saturday), the store clerk said the service would take at least six hours!. How would you travel to Montgomery, I had to buy a meter and pressure gauge tires every day .... Upon returning to Miami, the industry complained of return of vehicles and the official receipt of the Alamo, extremely rude said he could not do anything, doubting our history. Only when we insist to speak with the manager and tells him what happened, they found that the truth and gave a receipt quitando up the grill of the vehicle. I do not know if they will honor it. It is truly absurd what happened to us, as did all possible to imagine that insurance would have the best support in emergencies. A vehicle with the tires stuck or something like that endangers the health of passengers and not imagine that a company the size of Alamo would devote little attention to it. So, I asked him to remove it from the extra cost and finally he accepted my request. His attitude and behavior to me was disgusting.
