There were issues concerning the fuel policy of Dollar.
Comment: Perhaps not the fault of Dollar Rent a Car, however the petrol station at the airport was not open to allow us to top up the tank prior to dropping it off. We had investigated this option on line and understood that we needed to provide a receipt of having filled the car within a 10 mile radius of the airport, but as we had to drop the car off at around 6.00 a.m. ~ when we arrived, the station was not open so it cost us an extortionate amount as charged by Dollar Rent a Car to top up the tank. This, and the fact that the brakes in the van seemed in need of a tune up when trying to brake on declines, freeway, etc. were the only major concerns of the car rental.
