[note from the editor: The rental conditions (you have to confirm that you have read, understood and agree with them before you can even confirm a booking via Cartrawler) state very clear that debit cards are not accepted. The voucher you received from Cartrawler repeats that debet cards are not accepted. In our top 5 car rent pitfalls you can also read that when you pick up a car a credit card (and not a debit card!) on the name of the main driver is required. So you have been warned at least 3 times that a credit card is required when you pick up a car.]

Comment: I felt ripped off by the car rental company but I had no choice since it was already prepaid and I was not sure if I could get a refund from Atlas Choice if I did not take the downgraded car.

Comment about other issues when picking up the car: I did not get the car I wanted and got a downdgraded car on the first day. SInce it was already prepaid and I was not sure if I could get a refund from Atlas Choice, I felt forced to take the downgraded car. I had to negotitate with them how to reslove it and get i swapped on the next day. But during whole process, they were not helpful to resolve the inconvience they have caused.
