When I get to the car, I noticed that there was a little rust and a bang on the back near the right light with a very small break in the lantern uncritically. No one came to check it. I do not know what was tested together but he told me that I had to pay for the damage. I complained and to the staff member and to the person at the head office (GREEN MOTION) telling them that this flick existed before. Is not possible to be corrosion of the batter in 7 Days! Unfortunately I am not necessarily believable and I paid 130 euros unfairly. I do not know why they did this. Really I am sorry for what happened. I had always parked the car near me and nobody batted nor touched. The batter was old. Since he did not came to inspect it before, how he knew if there was any batter? However, the energy of the staff left me some innuendo. He told me that IF YOU WOULD INSURED THE CAR FOR FULL NOTHING WILL HAPPENED NOW??? In Chania we did not get a SUV but a Peugot 508, not SUV. We needed a SUV because we planned a lot of 'dirt track' routes. I could not do them with this Peugot 508. If I didn't need a SUV I should have selected a much cheaper and smaller car. Now I feel I paid to much. Booking the car The website of CarTrawler did not give enough information or the information is not correct: There was a problem with this information: model of car. Comment: I ordered a Megane, was changed to a Ford Focus when I got the voucher, finally I only got a Ford Fiesta. The car company proved Cartrawler only ordered a Huyndai 3 door The voucher and the confirmation mail received from CarTrawler after booking the car did not provide sufficient and correct information: There was a problem with this information: car model. Comment: Autu-union proved to us that cartrawler had ordered a Huyndai 3-door, and we got a Fiesta 5 door. They transported our luggage free to the hotel!! The staff at the pick-up office of AutoUnion was friendly and helpfull: Dropping off the car The staff at the drop off office from AutoUnion was friendly and helpfull: General judgement Value for money: Comment: I wanted a Megane, since we were 4 persons with baggage, only got a Fiesta, which ment we had to drive twice to get to the airport when returning The service AutoUnion delivered: We would rent a car from AutoUnion again. The service CarTrawler delivered: We wouldn't use the service of CarTrawler again. Comment: I think they cheat their customers by ordering a lower class car from rental company, than promissing the customer!! (According to the information provided by the customer, CarTrawler has not been contacted after the reservation was made and was not given a chance to solve problems when they occurred.) |

Arrived at 23:00 in the port and the agency was closed although the ship was on its way to the island. I didnt hitchhiked to the hotel by pure chance. I begged for the agency to open. They did me the favour at midnight. what a lucky man I am.. Hertz offered extra insurances that were excessive.
