The info the CarTrawler provided on the voucher about not needing extra insurances was clear:
Comment: We wanted to wave the insurance since it's on our credit card already, but Europcar said they would have to charge the value of the car ($6,000 USD) to the card to hold it if we waved the insurance. We didn't have that much of a limit on the card, so we were forced to take the insurance. We should have been informed of this insurance policy beforehand, and we would have brought a different credit card with space for $6,000 on it. This was never communicated to me from either CarTrawler or Europcar before the trip.
